Excerpt from Unsaid

....Making a mental note to throw away the now rotting plantain on the table...the dowager made her way up the hall to her room to collect her night gown and her robe. Fumbling through the dresser, Vangeleen heard her bedroom door creak behind her. Startled, she turned, then smiled.

"Chile, don't sneek up behind me like that. You almost gave me a heart attack", she scolded. "I was just getting my nightclothes, come help me..." Suddenly, Vangeleen Edmunds' whole body went frigid. "W-w-w-what are you doing here? Get out of my house NOW!!", she bellowed as she backed up and ran into the dresser. "S-s-stay away from me, you hear. G-g-get out! No!....No! NOOOOOOO!!!!"
